AYCEL-CoverAll You Can Eat London is an actual printed ‘zine (kids used to make these at great personal cost before we had the internet). It was my first foray into food writing along with co-author and writing partner Fred Chao.

While living in London a few years back, Fred and I found ourselves eating at many of the buffet restaurants that crowded the city. Then we found ourselves writing about them and what it was like for us to live there at the time. Unlike almost everything else I wrote back then, I’m not too ashamed to keep throwing it around despite its often inept attempt at whatever it was attempting. That might be because people keep buying it, but it’s probably more because we made the damned thing ourselves.
